Tanpuras: The ground of indian classical music

The Tanpura is an ancient  and essential part of Indian classical music as it creates the fundamental  grounding drone that the music centres around.

It can be  played alone as a meditation, sound healing tool. It is a unique instrument in the sense that you do not need to be a musician to play it, in a similar way to something like a singing bowl you simply need to learn a basic technique to be able to create its beautifully transcendental sound.

Sitars: Melody. Rhythm and drone

Sitar is probably the most well-known of all Indian classical instruments.  It is a north Indian -Hindustani- classical instrument, it has gone through  many centuries of evolution originating from Veena , and invented by Amir  Khusro , an 18th-century musician  of the Mughal Empire.

Our sitars are stage quality instruments made for performers and lovers of fine instruments.
