Stage  quailty. RAVI SHANKAR Style Sitars ( this listing ) have two extra bass strings (Low Pa - fifth - and Low Sa -tonic- ) thus giving them an extra bass octave.

This adds a Surbahar ( bass sitar) like feeling to the Sitar.
Ravi shankar style Sitars are best in C# tuning, they have very a bright and open sound and are more highly decorate then Vilayat khan style sitars ( but you can request very simple decor - the price will be slighly adjusted - if you prefer that because we are making to order )
