Key understanding :

When the upper three holes are closed by fingers it's classed as B scale. ( Indian style of playing ) It will be F sharp Scale in western style playing when all six holes are covered. .

Please message  if you don't understand this point.

Bansuri's can play ANY scale (scale is not ‘key’) with the use of half covered holes to get minor notes.
